the company shall reimburse consultant for reasonable travel and other business expenses incurred by its agents in the performance of the duties hereunder in accordance with the company’s general policies, as they may be amended from time to time during the course of this agreement. nothing in this agreement shall prevent the consolidation of the company with, or its merger into, any other corporation, or the sale by the company of all or substantially all of its properties or assets, or the assignment by the company of this agreement and the performance of its obligations hereunder to any successor in interest or any affiliated company. the services shall be performed by consultant or consultant’s staff, and company shall not be required to hire, supervise or pay any assistants to help consultant who performs the services under this agreement.
