(this could be a mistake in the making on my partâ¦. i went into carmax later this morning and a lady at the business counter and what i presume to be a manager said i only needed a vehicle specific poa. and two others being vehicle specific – vin, and all other vehicle information.
in two days iâll head back to carmax with poas, florida registration, and her license front and back. update 3 – just went to carmax with two singed and notarized poas (one being durable poa and the second being vehicle specific), florida registration for the vehicle, and milâs license front and back. when i was in there monday that was never told to me or given to me to overnight to her. i did specifically ask about the process and documents required. all in all, itâs actually been a smooth process considering i was trying to get this done asap. it has helped that i have two carmaxâs within 10 miles of my house. ð¤·ââï¸ both poa templates were free and took 5 minutes to fill out. someone did mention that carmax will make the check out to my mother in law, thatâs true!
